With Snap, patients can test for sleep apnea in their natural sleep environment. Here’s how it works:
Our Technology
Snap Diagnostics’ home sleep test measures five essential channels of sleep data: airflow, oximetry, heart rate, respiratory effort and sound. Post-study, the raw data is analyzed both by automated software and by our team of sleep technicians. Features include:
- Identification of obstructive and central apnea events, as well as other irregular respiratory patterns
- Direct measurement of actual breathing, rather than estimating breathing from indirect signals
- Results based upon analyzed sleep time (AHI, RDI) and total recording time (REI)
- Proprietary acoustical analysis of snoring
- Easy multi-night testing capability
- A HIPAA compliant online portal to manage tests, orders and more
